Even the big challenges life brings, that knock you down hard, will be ok if you can love yourself through them.

It's the relationship that you develop with yourself that is the barometer for how most things will go. If your relationship with yourself is not a good one, where you might put yourself down, or beat yourself up over something you said or did, you probably won't have most things go your way. It makes life so hard when feeling any kind of abusive or negative emotions about yourself.

To transform the negatives into a spirit of great loving care for yourself and treating yourself as if you were your own child that you love and adore…that is the single most powerful thing you can do.

The other day I was completely frustrated over something I did on my computer. I deleted something that I shouldn't have. Something that I spent hours working on. My friend was over and I heard myself say out loud, in front of her, “I'm such an idiot! Ugh, I hate myself right now!”  Those words stung in my ears and I thought to myself, “Why would you say such a nasty thing about precious you?”

There was a time that this was my standard inner dialogue. I’ve rarely said anything like that to myself in the last year since having a deep spiritual awakening in Bali under the guidance of my transformational life coach Kute.

As I said those mean words to myself out loud, I actually became so offended with myself that I would speak to myself that way. It was an old and unloving way to communicate my frustration with the situation.

I immediately said out loud, “NO, you made a mistake and it was an error anyone could have made.”

In that moment, I made peace with that inner dialogue and didn't judge how harshly I spoke to myself.

I knew already how much I had changed, but this one instance really allowed me to gauge my progress and that made me go even deeper into a love within.

We are all human; we all will regress into negativity. It's the way you recover and let that feeling move right through you that will change the destiny of the mood you will be living in.  You will have many relationships in your life, and the relationship you have with yourself is the most precious of them all.
